Poole Missional Communities are developing a training resource to support the releasing of new missional communities. The resource is a simple and accessible tool for teams of local Christians with a heart to engage in mission in their local context. It encourages friends, families or ready made teams to come together over a meal and discussing key themes and practices for missional community. 5 beautifully designed tablecloths with material and questions/activities to engage with it form the content of the resource. As they engage with the material in front of them, perhaps over a meal together, our hope is that people will explore how God might be active in their neighbourhood or networks and begin to think seriously about how they might join in with him. The material will also help teams learn together, shape their vision and values together and build team together. Our expectation is that the team emerges from the process with a solid theological basis for their mission and a clearer vision of what God is calling them to be and do together.

We are looking for 10 teams to participate in a pilot scheme between February and May 2020. The pilot will consist of a gathering (either in person or online) of team facilitators and one team member from each team at the beginning and end of the process. This will then enable each team to use the resource over the course of the following 3 months.  Each team will be provided with a full set of the 5 conversation sheets to use and a facilitators guide. At the end of the pilot there will a chance for teams to feedback on their experience of using the resource to help in the final development stage.

To apply to be part of this pilot please fill in the form on the following link: https://forms.gle/4spPGpAvGc9pFhKf7
