Pioneer Collective Round Up
One of the things that PMC is passionate about is enabling pioneers to meet one another for mutual support and learning. The Dorset Pioneer Network (DPN) has been going for 5 years now,
networking pioneers across Dorset, jointly organised by ourselves and Acoustic84, a Baptist
movement lead by Ben Lucas.
We’ve been wondering though whether a more local pioneer gathering might be welcomed by
people. A simple gathering for sharing stories, encouraging one another and praying together. So in early March this year we held our first Pioneer Collective for the local area. We gathered for a
shared meal at the URC church in Skinner St and pioneers came from across the BCP conurbation
and further afield.
It was a great evening of conversation which finished with prayer in the main body of the church. We hope to do this again in the autumn. We also hope that perhaps others in their local area might be up for offering a similar meal and space for conversation and prayer with local pioneers.
